Besides the Kapoor family members, the first one to head to the hospital when the news of veteran Rishi Kapoor passing away broke out was Alia Bhatt. Currently dating the late actor’s son Ranbir Kapoor, the actress remained by bereaved family right from the beginning till the last rites were performed.  Post which she shared some throwback pictures of the veteran actor’s happy times with his family as well. The actress also posted a note on her Instagram account paying her tribute to Rishi Kapoor.

Now, she shared on her Instagram story a tribute paid by Amul India to the actor with a red heart. Amul India who is always bang on with its social media posts created a heartfelt creative for the late superstar. The creative had sketches of Rishi Kapoor in the iconic roles he played on screen with the header saying, “Aap kisise kaam naheen.” While Alia posted this post as a story with a red heart, Amul India shared on their Instagram account with the caption, “#Amul Topical: He was a great and very popular star over many decades!”

Post Rishi’s return in 2019 from the US after his cancer treatment; the actress was often spotted with the Kapoor family.  Also, the actress had made a quick visit to the capital in the month of February when he was hospitalised. Unfortunately, the late actor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni couldn’t reach Mumbai for her father’s last rites. She connected live with Alia during her father’s funeral which took place at Chandanwadi crematorium in Marine Lines, Mumbai.
